"I Feel Like I'm Flying" -Wendel

Boa tarde pessoal,

Not too much to report on from this week!

We were excited to be able to help Thais, the daughter of Nonata (who we baptized two weeks ago), be baptized yesterday. She had been excited for weeks to be able to be baptized and came out of the baptismal waters with a huge smile on her face. It was another incredibly spiritual baptismal service.

As we walked uphill to a nearby canoe to do her confirmation she said, "Guys, I feel lighter now; like a weight I didn't even know I had was taken away." A few minutes after the service had finished, she sent a message in the group chat expressing how happy she was to be a part of the Church.

Élder Pollock and Élder Narváez will no longer be in Itapecuru, unfortunately. Élder Pollock will be opening up a new group of the Church in a smaller city named Barra do Corda and Élder Narváez will be going to Teresina. I will be staying in Itapecuru with Élder Felipe. We will also be welcoming an American named Élder Oliver and his companion who is being reassigned from the Goiâna Mission. That's the way it will be until the day that I return home, which is fortunately and unfortunately growing ever nearer: just 5 weeks now.

"And it shall come to pass, that whoso arepenteth and is baptized in my name shall be filled; and if he endureth to the end, behold, him will I hold guiltless before my Father at that day when I shall stand to judge the world."

3 Nephi 27:16

Love you all and hope you all have a great week!

Até a próxima!
Élder Lindsay
