"Paulo Ricardo Needs A New Pair Of Shoes!" -Irmã Domingas

Bom dia pessoal, Como estão indo as coisas com vocês? What another incredibly quick week! I feel like just yesterday I was sending one of these out for y'all! Another week of miracles here in the group of Tutóia, Maranhão! I've got to start off with the highlight: OS BATISMOS! This week we were able to help baptize 3 folks - Domingas, her son Paulo Vitor, and Francisco (father of João Otávio who was baptized last week) - enter the waters of baptism and make their first covenant with Heavenly Father! Along these three folks was Irmão Francisco. The man is a 78-year-old stud (the Tom Cruise "Maverick" look-alike standing next to me below). Shows that we are never too old to make a life change! Thaylon (the youngest of the people that we baptized last week) and his brothers Max and Joelison helped us teach some lessons 3 or 4 days this week. A Quick Trip To Switzerland

Well howdy there friends and family, How's life treating you all? Man, a lot has happened in the past couple of weeks and I totally left you all hanging last Monday. I've got some extra free time this P-Day so I'm hoping I can make up for it! Starting off with the highlights, we had the incredible opportunity to baptize 4 people this week! João Otávio, Francisco "Olávio" (his nome de guerra), Max, and Thaylon were all able to be baptized yesterday in the Atlantic Ocean (you know, I had gotten used to the fact that the ocean's so close until I wrote that). Shortly after their baptisms, I had the opportunity to confirm each one of them and give them the Gift of the Holy Ghost during our record-setting sacrament meeting of 20 people (my first time confirming somebody, nevermind doing it in a different language).
