"The Church Pew's More Comfortable Than The Floor" -Élder Pollock

Hello again!

Due to meetings down here in the MBT, we didn't get into our area until Thursday, but that didn't keep the miracles from happening!

Wenderson and Guilherme, two more of Yan's friends,  were baptized. Honestly, this kid's a stud; he now lives 3 miles out of town but now pays for taxis to go to church and is still taking friends to church that end up being baptized!

Monday morning we went up to São Luís to make preparations for the leadership council on Tuesday and zone conference on Wednesday. We bought breakfast, organized the lunches (hence the picture of us at McDonald's that somebody from Itapecuru took whichout us knowing while we just happened to be in the same São Luís mall), cleaned the chapel, and prepared trainings. It ended up taking so long (until around midnight) that we just decided to sleep on the Church pews instead of traveling trying to go to another missionaries' house and waking them up. The cuchioned pews are more comfortable than the tile floor of someone's house, anyway, so it ended up being just wonderful.

That's the most sleep I will have gotten in a chapel until I'm an old man sleeping during sacrament meetings!

Bishop Silva found out the next day and just laughed. He asked if we would have to do the same thing Tuesday night to which we responded, "yes." He said we ought to grab some buckets and take a shower in the bathrooms.

"The Church is ours, brothers!," he said.

Don't worry, we didn't do that.

Sacarament meeting had over 50 people again (51, to be exact)! We had a wonderful Easter testimony meeting! A few recent converts even ended up giving us missionaries chocolate as presents afterward! That was pretty special!

We will be preparing Romão and Joselio to receive the Melchizedek Priesthood here in two weeks, and President Lindsey said as soon as that happens he will send a proposal in to Church headquarters for the group to become a... *drumroll please* BRANCH! The Itapecuru Branch!

Please keep this in your prayers so that this happens!

Love you all so much! Have a wonderful week!
