2 Meters Tall (And 1 Centimeter)

Gooooood evening friends and family,

Well what do you know? My newest "son" has got me by about a foot and a half! He's a stud muffin, though, so I'm not too worried about it: a big teddy bear.

He was baptized four years ago after trying to make fun of the missionaries one day as they walking down the street, marking a return appointment, and being touch by the Holy Ghost. For now he is the only member in his family, and he decided to serve a mission after receiving a spiritual prompting while watching General Conference.

He enjoyed working with the missionaries in his ward back home, so he's already got a pretty decent understanding of what missionary work entails, and he's excited to be doing it. It's hard not to stay happy with a big, smilely guy like this always talking about how happy and exited he is to be in the mission field.

The first highlight if the week: Leonard's baptism!

We had already talked to him a bit before but had never taught him any lessons. He regularly visited seminary and this last week decided to go to church, too. We taught him a lesson this past Wednesday and felt inspired to ask if he had a desire to be baptized. He said he had always had one and asked if he could be baptized yesterday. Of course we were all about that, so we taught all of the lessons, got him interviewed, and he was baptized by his friend Lucas (recognize him?)!

One of the members in one of our wards asked me if I could give her a blessing of comfort after having a bad week. She said she had felt in danger for no reason during the week and just needed comfort. I gave her a blessing and it was one of the most inspired ones I've given until now. When I got done, she was crying her eyes out and I was about there. She thanked me and said she was feeling a night and day difference.

For those of you who don't know what a priesthood blessing is, feel free to ask me! You don't have to be a member of the Church to receive one, and they're an incredible way to receive comfort, counsel, and even help with health concerns. If you have interest in receiving one, ask one of your friends that's a member of the Church! They'll get one hooked up for you!

Elder Azevedo (my trainer) and Elder Adames (the first guy I trained) somehow made there way to the middle of our area. Their area is probably about five miles away from ours, but yeah... that was pretty funny. We took a quick pic.

Sure love you all! Didn't have time to put much of a thought here, but GOD IS GOOD!

THE BOOK OF MORMON'S LIFE-CHANGING! GIVE IT A READ SOMETIME!

Have a great week and let me know how yall are doing!
