"Elder Lindsay's Pregnant" -Elder De Souza

Opa meus peixes... só filé?

Well I guess I'd better start off by explaining the subject...

As they say down here in the MBT, "estou esperando" (I'm expecting), or in other words: I'm going to be training a new missionary!

Last week at Zone Conference, President Lindsey had let me know that it was a possibility for this next transfer, but it still came as a bit of a surprise when one of the missionaries in the office called and let us know. When I tried to ask who I would be training, they only told me "ele é francês" (he is French), which is almost certainly not true, so it will be a surprise for both me and all y'all exactly what's going to happen!

What really came as a surprise is when I was told that after today I will be the District Leader here, too. What does that mean, exactly? That means I'm going to need a whole lot of prayers on your part and a whole lot of praying on mine, too.

I will be responsible for evaluating the numbers, receiving revelation, and giving counsel to the members of my District. Depending on who all is in my district, that may also mean I will be responsible for doing divisões with them, too.

I'm definitely excited for the new challenge and was definitely feeling like I needed some more responsibility. While I know it won't be easy, I look forward to this opportunity to grow. Elder de Souza will also be here to help out until he leaves on the 31st, so I'm also pretty grateful for that.

Thanks again all for reading! Thanks for all who sent emails this week! I'm sending áudio clips out now, so that's been a whole lot more practical!

Até a próxima vez!

"And it came to pass that I, Nephi, said unto my father: I will go and do the things which the Lord hath commanded, for I know that the Lord giveth no commandments unto the children of men, save he shall prepare a way for them that they may accomplish the thing which he commandeth them."

1 Nephi 3:7

3. This is Edilson, who will be baptized this coming Sunday! We had talked with him once before, but he saw us in the line at the restaurant, told us to come over, we shared a lesson with him, and he accepted a batismal date! He is excited as can be and went to sacrament meeting this past Sunday!
4. This was in our back yard this past week
